2022 Thai Powerlifting National Championship

Thai Powerlifting Federation (TPF) is officially announcing Thai Powerlifting National Championship! The Thai Powerlifting National Championship is scheduled for Saturday, February 26 at Iron Hive Gym.

*If you intend to compete in the National Championship on February 26, 2022, please sign up ASAP as registration closes on February 5, 2022 and we will be capping this event at 56 athletes.

Also, due to NQ1-3 being canceled last year, the 2022 NC will be OPEN TO ALL meaning no qualifying event will be required, and all experience levels and ranks are welcome.

We will be strictly following the IPF rules regarding weigh-ins where athletes have to weigh in at the weight class they have registered for the competition. If you’d like to change your weight class for this competition, please inform us at least 21 days before the competition day. After this deadline, whichever weight class you’d signed up for is what you will be in on the competition day. If you miss your weight during weigh-ins on the competition day, you will automatically be removed from the competition (and eligibility for awarding) but can still participate as a guest lifter.

นอกจากนี้ เนื่องจาก NQ1-3 ถูกยกเลิกในปีที่แล้ว ดังนั้น 2022 NC จะเปิดให้ทุกคน ซึ่งหมายความว่าไม่จำเป็นต้องผ่านการคัดเลือก (qualifying event) ตามที่กำหนด และยินดีต้อนรับทุกระดับประสบการณ์เข้าร่วมการแข่งขันครับ

เรื่องการชั่งน้ำหนักของนักกีฬาในการแข่งขัน นักกีฬาจะต้องชั่งน้ำหนักตามรุ่นน้ำหนักที่นักกีฬาลงทะเบียนไว้เท่านั้น หากนักกีฬามีความประสงค์ที่จะเปลี่ยนรุ่นน้ำหนัก นักกีฬาจะต้องแจ้งให้ทางเราทราบก่อนวันแข่งขัน 21 วัน นักกีฬาที่ไม่ทำตามกฎ จะถูกปรับเป็นนักกีฬารับเชิญหรือโดนถอดออกจากการแข่งขัน

National Championship Eligibility:

1. Be a current and active TPF Member.

2. Be a Thai Citizen or Resident. Residency can be proven with a current resident card or a current non-immigrant visa, current work permit, and current legal address (supported by a rental agreement or mortgage and at least one utility bill).

3.1 Achieve a qualifying total (as per the below) for the age category and weight class intended to compete in at Nationals in a TPF, APF, or IPF sanctioned competition after January 1 of the year before the year in which the National Championship is being held. (For example, to qualify for a National Championship in 2022, one must acquire a qualifying total in 2021 in the age category and weight class intended to compete in at the 2022 National Championship.)

3.2 If you would like to compete in the National Championship and believe you’re qualified but can’t make any of the National Qualifiers, then please email admin@thaipowerliftingfederation and state your case so we can consider.

3.3 If you would like to participate in the National Championship and have not qualified, you still can but will be entered as a Guest Lifter and thereby not eligible for the awards, and will be presented with a Certificate of Participation and a TPF T-Shirt.

4. Have only competed in Powerlifting competitions that follow the IPF Anti-Doping Rules within the previous 12 months of the National Championship.

1.ปัจจุบันเป็นสมาชิก TPF และเข้าร่วมการแข่งขันอย่างสม่ำเสมอ

2. เป็นคนไทยหรือมีที่พำนักในประเทศไทย สามารถพิสูจน์ได้ด้วยบัตรประจำตัวผู้พำนักปัจจุบันหรือวีซ่าประเภทชั่วคราว (non-immigrant visa) ใบอนุญาตทำงานปัจจุบันและที่อยู่ตามกฎหมายในปัจจุบัน (สนับสนุนโดยข้อตกลงการเช่าหรือการจดจำนองและค่าสาธารณูปโภคอย่างน้อยหนึ่งรายการ) 

3.1 บรรลุผลรวมตามเกณฑ์ที่กำหนด (ด้านล่าง) สำหรับรุ่นอายุและรุ่นน้ำหนักที่ตั้งใจจะเข้าแข่งขันในเวทีแห่งชาติที่จัดขึ้นโดย TPF APF หรือ IPF ตามลำดับหลังจากวันที่ 1 มกราคมในปี ก่อนปีที่จะมีการแข่งขันชิงแชมป์แห่งชาตินั้นๆ (ตัวอย่างเช่น หากต้องการมีคุณสมบัติสำหรับการแข่งขันชิงแชมป์แห่งชาติในปี 2022 คุณจะต้องได้รับการคัดเลือกในปี 2021 ในรุ่นอายุและรุ่นน้ำหนักที่ต้องการเข้าร่วมในการแข่งขันชิงแชมป์แห่งชาติปี 2022)

3.2 หากท่านต้องการที่จะแข่งขันในรายการชิงแชมป์แห่งชาติ และเชื่อว่าคุณมีคุณสมบัติเพียงพอแต่ไม่สามารถเข้าร่วมการแข่งขัน National Qualifiers ได้ โปรดติดต่อเราผ่านอีเมล admin@thaipowerliftingfederation และบอกเหตุผลกับเราเพื่อที่ทางเราจะพิจารณาต่อไป

3.3 หากท่านต้องการที่จะเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการแข่งขันในรายการชิงแชมป์แห่งชาติ แต่ไม่มีสมบัติเพียงพอ ท่านสามารถเข้าร่วมได้ในฐานะ นักกีฬารับเชิญ โดยท่านจะไม่ได้รับรางวัลใดๆ และจะได้ใบประกาศนียบัตรสำหรับการเข้าวร่วม และ เสื้อยืดจาก TPF 

4. เข้าร่วมการแข่งขัน Powerlifting เฉพาะในเวทีการแข่งขันที่ปฏิบัติตามกฎ IPF Anti-Doping Rules ในระยะเวลา 12 เดือนก่อนหน้าการแข่งขัน National Championship นั้นๆ

Registration cost is 1,500 THB for TPF Members or 3000 THB for Members of another IPF Member Nation, (but please note that you will need written permission from your Member Federation).

To be clear, you will need to be either a. a Member of TPF or b. a Member of another IPF Member Nation in order to compete in our sanctioned competitions.
